Introduction
The Attendance Tracker is designed to make event management and member engagement tracking effortless. It prioritizes privacy by keeping all your data in your personal Google account.
Features
1. Hub Dashboard
The Hub is your home screen, providing a bird’s-eye view of your organization.
- Recent Sessions: View and edit the most recent attendance logs.
- Quick Actions: Access member lists, settings, and new session creation.
- Event Highlights: See upcoming or recently missed recurring events.
2. Member Management
The Members tab is where you manage your roster.
- Adding Members: Support for manual entry or bulk family additions.
- Search & Filter: Find members instantly as you type.
- Duplicate Prevention: The system warns you if a member with a similar name already exists.
- Soft Delete: Deleting a member preserves their historical records while removing them from the active list.
3. Attendance Taking
The core interaction of the app.
- Event Selection: Choose from existing events or create a “custom” session.
- Swipe Action: Use the signature “Fluid Humanist” swipe tracks to record attendance status.
- Real-time Stats: View the percentage of present members as you go.
- Labels: Assign labels (e.g., “Visitor,” “Staff”) during the attendance flow.
4. Google Drive Sync
Keep your data safe across multiple devices.
- Automatic Sync: Data is synced on app launch and whenever major changes occur.
- Manual Backups: Create timestamped snapshots from the Settings page.
- Merge Engine: No data is lost; edits from different devices are intelligently merged using a “last-write-wins” strategy.
5. Reporting and Export
Get your data into external tools for deeper analysis.
- CSV Export: Generate a standard comma-separated file for Excel or Numbers.
- Google Sheets Sync: Direct integration that pushes attendance records to a specified Google Sheet.
Privacy & Security
- No Third-Party Servers: Your data is stored on your device and in your private Google Drive folder.
- Minimum Permissions: The app only asks for the
drive.appdatascope, meaning it cannot see any other files in your Drive. - GDPR Ready: Local control over data and easy export/deletion options.
